Women's Volleyball Recap
Game Recap about our Lady Lynx at their Regionals Tournament this past weekend
Women’s Volleyball started off with a strong start, traveling to Greeley, Colorado this weekend. Located at the University of Northern Colorado Recreation Center, the girls traveled an hour away to compete in Regionals, facing opponents like Air Force Academy and MSU.
The Women’s Gold Team started with games at 8:30 a.m. against Colorado School of Mines in which the Lady Lynx played with grit and power but sadly ended in a 2-0 loss for CU Denver. The next game was against the Air Force Academy in which CU Denver fought and won their second match of the day with a 2-0 match win. For their last match against Metropolitan State University, the girls dominated with a 2-0 finish.
Our Women’s White Team went 0-3 for their games, but fought hard against tough competition. With a couple of close sets, they put in the effort and grit.
With an impressive 2-1 finish, our Women’s Volleyball team has started off strong and they’ll finish strong too! Good luck on the season Lynx!
